My Daily Diet

by JANAK PATEL
(MEHSANA,GUJARAT, INDIA)

My diet is very perfect for me. I eat regularly and on a particular time. I wake up in the morning and have a brush and bath. After that I pray to god for a while. Everyday I take my breakfast at 7:30 AM. I normally prefer to take a cup of tea and some biscuits. Then I go to my business place where I am working.

In the afternoon, I take my lunch at 1 o'clock. I normally go to the dining hall to have my lunch. I take only two chapati and vegetable and one cup of butter milk. I hate to eat rice in the afternoon because it makes sleepy and lazy.

In the evening, at 4 pm I just take one cup of tea to make myself alive. I believe that tea is a medicine to remove your laziness.

At 5:30 pm, I go back to my home and have a rest for a half hour to make myself fresh.

I take my dinner at 8 o'clock at home with my family. I eat normally 2 chapati and vegetable with one cup of milk. Sometimes I also have only rice and vegetables. After a half hour of food, me and my wife go for a walk to digest our food. I don't eat anything more in than my food. I don't have anything spicy or junky food. I love to have food from home, so sometimes I carry my lunch to the office in a lunch box.

In India, people normally have their food at home. I have been to Australia for four years and have seen that most of the people have their lunch outside, where they buy food. Why are they not having homemade food? This I don't understand.
